Laetitia Hoffmann is a visual artist and a printmaker born in France (Alsace). She graduated in Strasburg Art School. Since 1999 she has lived and worked in Australia, now based in Palmwoods on the beautiful Queensland Sunshine Coast. Laetitia has been working as a linocut printmaker since 2006, initially inspired by classic Japanese woodcuts and Ukiyo-e (floating world) and Australian woman printmaker Margaret Preston. Inspired by women from around the world, most of her work relates to the female figure where intricate patterns give the shapes to the body. Laetitia has participated in group exhibitions in France, Germany, Australia and Japan.
