From a young age, growing up in the linen producing area of Northern Ireland, June had an appreciation of fine fabric and a desire to make beautiful things. As a child she was a hoarder of scraps of cloth, buttons, ribbons, etc. – a habit that continues today! Inspiration for the bags comes directly from the fabric itself. Perhaps a small piece of Designers Guild cotton or an exquisite Italian linen is carefully teamed with complimentary pieces to form the outside of the bag. The outer shell is made from upholstery weight fabric and handles are triple stitched for strength making the bags functional as well as fashionable and each piece is a delightful one-off creation.
